My Sowl is not the wisest part of me or Even as I grow older and knowledge recedes Can I cede that the sagacity I once yearned for Is over the hill where yonder learned man bleeds. Essentially is my sowl or essential-self present in my nonhuman qualities?  Or am I an amalgam of perceived human cognitive concepts? T he idea that humans are selfish, mechanistisic individuals who must be governed is essentially a view created and reinforced by the mechanistic media (rooted in the visual bias), the proprietors of which benefit from this mechanised system being maintained (it is not a conspiracy but a self-maintaining system). To compensate for our misgivings and to quell any longings various periodical mechanisms are used to give us of a transient soothing sense of a surrogate connection to altruistic acts of shared imagination.

We are living in an age defined by the post-rationalisatic tendencies of the left-brain. This “mode” of thinking is so embedded in our culture that it’s hard to notice. I’ll try and explain, as much for myself rather than out of a need to foist my views on you.  The left-brain is the area that focuses specifically and enables us to grab or get. It is what allows us to categorize and process data. This relies on objective separation, something that empathy does not. If you look at current news all of it is processed through the left-brain. This is because social media has spread journalistic thinking over the world like a binary skin. Now the post-rationalisation process is apparent when Cameron says the Paris murders are an attack on Our Way of life. Sounds very convincing. It’s also retaliation for Western involvement in Syria. It is very possible that Kids Co. have become too famous and in this country fame and money are a highfalutin abstraction. I feel very sad to see the amazing work they do broken down into lists of incomings and outgoings but judging by the centrifugal forces of finances I should not be surprised. The critical article in the Spectator starts its case by saying that Camilla never wrote to a woman who donated 200,000 pounds after selling her house. I can only say that I received, from Camilla, the most touching letter I’ve had from anyone when I asked a few friends to donate money for my 40th birthday instead of buying a present. It was the closest I ever came to receiving a medal whilst having a compassionate hug. This was also the case when we organised an art raffle a couple of years ago. The tone of the second letter was perhaps less personal but hey I thought it’s an art raffle and by now Kids Co was a celebrity cause. The criticisms of Kids co are all on the secretarial level. We could evolve. This would need to be spontaneous And simultaneous of course. We all need to jump off the edge of the world. All at once We could instantly forgive Then turn to each other in our transfigured state laughing as we glance at our glowing attire. Laughing as we shake Our heads in dis-belief Gently breathing a sigh Of Collective relief Disbelieving the idea of civility We had held so tightly For so long To our chests Then slowly we could return Back to our homes And begin the process Of clearing up.
